The
financial viability of technologies from the agriculture, forestry,
and natural resources (AFNR) sectors will be the focus of a training-workshop
on Feb. 27 to Mar. 1 at PCARRD’s Bulwagang Panday Karunungan
in Los Baños, Laguna.
Coordinated
by the Council’s Socio-Economics Research Division, this activity
aims to provide the participants with appropriate and advanced analytical
tools and skills in determining various factors that affect a technology’s
performance, including its effects on production, yield, and income
of the producer.
Financial
analysis concepts and approaches in finding out the benefits of
AFNR technologies will be introduced.
Expected
participants will come from selected state universities and colleges
and members of the regional R&D centers of the National Agriculture
