PCARRD
gears up for its third yearly ISO 9001:2000 surveillance audit on
its quality management system (QMS) on March 8.
The ISO certification
is part of the Council’s continual effort to enhance agency
performance and service delivery to its clients and the general
public.
The certification
is renewed every three years and passing the yearly surveillance
audit is a requirement for renewal.
PCARRD was the
first council of the Department of Science and Technology to attain
ISO 9001:2000 certification for its QMS.
The
certificate was issued in early 2004 by SGS Philippines, an accredited
certifying body under the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
