Local
and foreign experts will get together to talk about the latest technologies,
trends, and global demands of the floriculture industry on Feb.
22–24 at the Manila Hotel.
Themed “Sustainable
floriculture industry in Asia,” the conference will feature
speakers from Korea, Hongkong, Australia, Thailand, the United States,
and the Philippines.
Organized by
the Los Baños Orchid Society, the conference is part of the
Flora Filipina Expo to be held on Feb. 23–Mar. 6 at Intramuros,
Manila. The expo includes exhibits and a trade fair showcasing the
best and rarest orchids, bonsais, cutflowers, and other ornamental
plants from the Philippines and other parts of Asia.
Plant
enthusiasts are invited to see the expo and “discover the
