The
Council signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the University
of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) in granting degree scholarships
through distance education.
PCARRD and UPOU
recognize the need to explore opportunities for cooperation in implementing
their human resource development programs.
PCARRD Executive
Director Patricio S. Faylon and UPOU Chancellor Felix Librero signed
the MOU during the open university’s 11th anniversary celebration
last February 22 in Los Baños, Laguna.
Both
parties agreed to draft a work plan to make sure the MOU is implemented.
