Governor Grace M. Padaca emphasized the growing importance of goat

of production.
PCARRD
Executive Director Patricio S. Faylon stressed the importance of
good genetics in animal production systems. He acknowledged Region
2’s efforts in promoting the cause of sheep raising and expressed
PCARRD’s offer of technical support.
Sponsored
by the Provincial Government of Isabela, Department of Agriculture
Regional Field Unit 2, Department of Trade and Industry, and the
Isabela Sheep and Goat Raisers Development Cooperative, the exposition
highlighted the importance of good quality genetics and appropriate
breeds of goat and sheep for productivity.
|
|
It
also aimed to strengthen the linkages among the various stakeholders,
financing institutions, as well as support institutions and organizations.
Commercial
and smallholder ruminant raisers, researchers, research administrators,
development workers from the DA, local government units, politicians,
