In a meeting with PCARRD officials headed by Dr. Patricio S. Faylon
at the Senate Office in Pasay City last 09 August, the senator suggested
the conduct of a survey on the most important commodities and products
of municipalities. This, he said would sharpen the product focusing
of FITS centers.
Angara
also stressed the need for value adding strategies, particularly
processing and preservation, to enhance the competitiveness of the
country’s abundant agricultural produce.
