agencies (PMAs), including representatives from selected Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) centers, participated in a consultation and planning workshop held in PCARRD, Los Baños, Laguna on September 4-5.

The two-day workshop provided the opportunity to orient and level off with the PMAs on the TGP and its enhancing programs particularly on

funds management and administration. Policies and guidelines, and terms of references of the participating consortia, FITS centers, and PMAs vis-avis TGP implementation were clarified, ratified, and resolved. Also, discussed were the work and financial plans (WFP) of the PMAs with reference to the WFP of the consortium and the FITS centers for the last quarter of 2007 and for the year 2008.

PCARRD Deputy Executive Director for Institution and Resource Management Richard M. Juanillo, Deputy Executive Director for R&D Danilo C. Cardenas, Technology Outreach and Promotion Division Director Bessie M. Burgos, and Finance and Administrative Division Director Emerita A. Huelgas served as resource persons. On the other hand, CVARRD Consortium Director Edmundo C. Gumpal CLARRDEC Consortium Director Teotimo C.
