A. Research and Technology Management Program (RTMP)

The RTMP coordinates the packaging and planning of completed research and development programs in agriculture, forestry and natural resources and in the monitoring and evaluation of R & D projects/programs. It also assists in the development of R & D management capabilities.

B. Regional Applied Communication Program (RACP)

The RACP is a support service program that focused on the effective and efficient dissemination and utilization of mature technologies or significant information through publications, instructional materials, mass media, linkages, communication research projects, and communication training courses.

C. Regional Management Information System Program (RMISP)

The RMISP is another support program that handles data collection, processing, storage, and retrieval activities to meet the information needs of clientele in agriculture, forestry, and natural resources research and development in the Region.

D. Human Resource Development Program (HRDP)

The HRDP seeks to enable researchers to participate actively in the technology transfer procedure as well as efficient use of scarce resources. It deals with the provision of training opportunities (both degree and non-degree) to enable researchers to provide the ANR sector with quality resarch work.

E. Techno Gabay Unlad Buhay Para sa Masa Program

The Techno Gabay Unlad Buhay Para sa Masa Program seeks to integrate and strengthen the PCARRD’s and the National Agriculture R&D Network’s techno-delivery initiatives. It provides a framework for a more effective and sustainable strategy for bringing the much needed information and technologies to the countryside. This is expected to create greater livelihood opportunities for the people and ensure better quality of life.

Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) or Techno Pinoy

The Farmers’ Information and Technology Services is a strategy that promotes the utilization of agri-based technologies, strengthens marketing linkages, and reinforces linkages among the agriculture industry and services sectors particularly in the Cordilleras. It is called “Techno Pinoy” because it is locally based allowing more people to share in the benefits and in contributing to the sustainability of the project.

Farmer-Scientist Bureau (FSB) or Magsasaka-Siyentista

The Farmer-Scientist Bureau (FSB) popularly called "Magsasaka-Siyentista"(MS) Program a new strategy employed by PCARRD to enhance farmers participation in R&D activities, extension and promotion of technologies. The program was implemented nationwide in collaboration with local government units, other government agencies or non-government organizations (NGO's), with the aim to establish a national network of demonstration farms showcasing the commercial feasibility and viability of agricultural technologies for promotion or commercialization.

FSB in CAR was implemented to strengthen the existing involvement of farmers as partners in R & D. By enlisting their resources, knowledge and experiences in partnership with scientists and other experts in CAR, they become more directly involved in research and development from planning, implementation, and technology development. This program spearheads the wider acceptance and utilization of relevant and affordable technologies by farmers. In general the project aims to establish and operate a Magsasaka-Siyentista network  through outstanding fanners in the region.
