What is SANREM CRSP ?
The Sustainable Agriculture and Natural
Resource Management Collaborative Research Support Program (SANREM CRSP) is a
research, training and information exchange program funded by the United States
Agency for International Development (USAID). The program offers a new paradigm
in international research and development. It adopts a landscape approach to
sustainability in the tropics which is a new approach to food production and
natural resource management within an ecological framework.
Mission Statement
The mission of SANREM is to implement a comprehensive farmer participatory,
interdisciplinary research, training and information exchange program that will
elucidate and establish principles of sustainable agriculture and natural
resource management on a landscape scale in the tropics.
