The National Minor Forest Plants R&D Commodity includes forest plants that are sources of non-timber forest products such as wildfood, fiber, fuel, resin, dye, cordage, thatch, medicines, baskets and cleaning aids like brooms and scouring materials. It also includes ritual plants used by various Philippine Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs).
Moreover, this commodity supports several industries, many of which are export oriented. These industries include: |
