IRRI Power Tiller

Description: A power driven multi-purpose machine for land preparation, transport and other applications in the field. It can be used for both lowland and upland conditions. During harvest, a trailer can be installed for easy transport of produced crops. Implements such as disc plows, harrows and seeders are provided as attachments in performing different operations.

UPLB Hand Tractor

Description: The UPLB hand tractor is simple in construction and durable. It utilizes two surplus automotive differentials to effect the necessary speed reduction and power transmission. With its improved power transmission system, it can utilize low powered engines usually 5-7 hp gasoline engine, than the existing local hand tractors.

IRRI Hydro Tiller

Description: Land preparation of rice fields with traditional equipment is a slow and costly operation, which often results to undesirable delays in planting-particularly in fields having deep mud, and/or excessive water where traditional equipment often bogs down. The hydrotiller was designed to help overcome these problems. Improved pump assembly, which can be used for irrigating and draining open surface waters.
