Number
of Participants
To
give closer supervision to individual trainees and to provide
more time for "hands-on" training, only 25-35 participants
are allowed in a class or group.
Number
of Days per Training
Normally,
a course could be completed within 1-2 days. However, the whole
training duration is very flexible as it depends upon the needs
and interests of the trainees. A general training with five courses
maybe completed within five days (Monday to Friday). The trainees
themselves design their own curricula and training schedule.
Trainers
The
trainers/resource persons are composed of a team of experienced
staff members of the MBRLC.
Training
Procedures
Generally,
the training will be dialogic and experiential. The training will
have lectures but emphasis would be on "hands-on" in
the fields, barns, and pens.
Training
Hours
The
training is done from Monday through Friday at 7:30 to 11:00 in
the morning and 1:30 to 5:00 in the afternoon. Evenings are reserved
for socialization, dialogue, farm planning, and moral and spiritual
values.
