Windbreaks
Windbreaks
are strips of vegetation composed of trees, shrubs, and vines to
protect croplands from strong winds. They can provide protection
to crops over a distance equivalent to 15-20 times the height of
the trees in the windbreak. They can also help minimize wind erosion
and reduce moisture loss. Next
