The Poultry
Information Network (PIN) is deemed necessary for easy access
to information vital to the poultry industry. The PIN is a one-stop-shop
of information about the poultry commodity, which is catered to
clients of the Livestock Research Division. It also provides other
stakeholders access to updated data and information relevant to
the poultry industry.
A lot of information is currently available in the net however,
its accessibility to many poultry stakeholders is limited. The
PIN is developed to enhance accessibility of relevant information
to poultry stakeholders thru the PCARRD Web.
The information, data and facts contained in the PIN is built
in response to the needs of poultry stakeholders as indicated
by the Philippine College of Poultry Practitioners (PCPP) in one
of the consultation meetings previously conducted.
